The Waikato Open Data Hub brings together datasets and maps that were previously hosted on separate websites: The Waikato Data Portal (data.colabsolutions.govt.nz) and Waikato OneView (oneview.colabsolutions.govt.nz).
By merging these, we are providing a more streamlined user experience, making it easier to explore, analyse, and interpret the data without the need to navigate between different platforms.
Data from this site can be downloaded in a variety of formats and in many cases APIs are available. By making data open and free, we drive progress, unlock innovation, and enhance the economic vitality of our region. This effort aligns with the Open Government Data Programme, a cross-government initiative aimed at making government data available for reuse.
