On 1 July Co-Lab Water Services celebrated 12 months being part of the Co-Lab family, and a whole decade providing shared water services for more than one council.
The Water Services team provide three waters sampling & analysis, trade waste and drinking water education services for councils around the Waikato. The service started for three councils in 2012 and has now grown to a team of 28 people providing services to nine Waikato councils.
Onboarding our new council customers has been very challenging in the Covid-19 environment. We have bounced in and out of lockdowns while trying to get to know a whole new cohort of stakeholders and customers along with splitting teams into bubbles. This has pushed us to think differently but has also shown us just how dedicated the Water Services team is to providing quality services to support council’s three waters activities.
We are so grateful to all our stakeholders who have welcomed us into their three waters operations and trusted us to get on with the mahi.
We are looking forward to the next busy and exciting 12 months of high-quality service delivery.
